Xak’s fourth grade class went to the State Capitol yesterday. Upon arrival at 9.30, the temperature was 19 degrees Fahrenheit.

Later, it warmed all the way up to 32, and the class ate lunch outdoors at picnic tables.

There is a “north” in North Carolina…
