Xak’s Broken Arm – the Sequel

Xak’s Broken Arm – the Sequel

A scant few hours after our mommy left for a three day business trip in California, Xak went superman off the edge of his bed and came up with a new elbow. Same arm, same breakpoint on both bones as the break in 2011. And so, back again we went to Durham Regional Emergency at 10.40 in the evening…

When he had the earlier break, all the medicos told us to be thankful he was so young, because – they said “If he was just a little older, this would be a whole different story.”
And so it was. Instead of getting a temporary splint and two aspirin, he was x-rayed (get the pun?)…

And today, just now, our mommy came home…which is why I’ve had the time to post this.

More on this story for the next month or two…….

My Little Geniuses

My Little Geniuses

In case you don’t see it right off, the babies have gone and got the red “men” from the Trouble game, and inserted them into the body of the syringe – I am guessing – to make blood.

I moved the Trouble box over for context, but otherwise, this is how I found it:

Constant Vigilance or Photoshop?

Constant Vigilance or Photoshop?

Faced with the option of keeping the children dazzlingly clean at all times, or using software to edit out the grime they build up every day, I’ve chosen to accept the facts of life, and hide them from you using computer graphic tricks. See if you can spot the five different places in this photo where I have “cleaned” the kids in post…
